When you create an account, Cookagram uses Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cognito to collect and manage your email address, first name, and last name. We also collect any optional profile information that you choose to provide.

Content you create

We collect the recipes, posts, comments, reactions, and media that you create or upload to Cookagram, as well as the information needed to display and organize that content in the service.

How we use information

We use your information to operate, maintain, and improve Cookagram; create and manage your account; authenticate you; display your profile and content according to the choices available in the service; and respond to support requests.

Storage and processing

Cookagram stores and processes account information and user-generated content using AWS services. This includes AWS Cognito for account management and authentication, and AWS infrastructure for application data and uploaded media. Information may be processed in the locations where AWS and its service providers operate.

Authentication and session storage

We use authentication and session information to keep you signed in, secure your account, and provide the features of Cookagram. Your browser may store essential session or preference information needed for these purposes. You can manage browser storage through your browser settings, although doing so may affect service functionality.

Analytics and advertising

Cookagram does not currently use third-party analytics or advertising trackers.

Affiliate programs

Cookagram may participate in affiliate marketing programs, which means we may earn commissions on purchases made through links on our site. These affiliate partners and their tracking providers may place or recognize cookies on your browser to track referrals and purchases.
